Parish Barbecue

We gathered on the rainiest day of the summer for a barbeque to welcome our curate placement Rev Abi Harris, and we didn’t let the tropical downpour dampen our spirits.  The Scout group kindly loaned us a couple of Barbeques and with a makeshift shelter we were able to still enjoy lovely BBQ food.  Folk brought salads, sides and drinks and we made quite a party of it in the church building!

There is no better way of sharing fellowship than over a meal, and we have a couple of other opportunities over the next couple of months:

• MacMillan Coffee Afternoon Friday 25^th September 2-4pm in the Hall all welcome!
• Harvest Lunch Sunday 4^th October 12.30 (Sign up sheet in Church)
